In september 2012, I won a grant from Be Open for Project RE_, a DIY project using 3D printing as a new way to reuse old or broken objects. I decided to use this prize in workshops at Domaine de Boisbuchet, a world-renowned program. Over the past 16 years, some of the best designers, architects and artists have lead projects in this idyllic country estate in the Southwest of France.
To name just a few of them: Ron Arad, Maarteen Baas, Yves Béhar, Big-Game, the Bouroullec Brothers, Andreas Banzi, Marc Bretillot, Fernando Campana, Humberto Campana, Matali Crasset, Tom Dixon, Konstantin Grcic, Patrick Jouin, Arik Levy, Ross Lovegrove, Jean-Marie Massaud, Ingo Maurer, Jasper Morrison, Norway Says, Simon Velez, Marcel Wanders…
Now, as a good Designer/Maker, I want to take advantage of this unusual context to experiment deeper with 3D printing.
